Delta flight DL-2257 , McDonnell Douglas MD-88 registration N964DL from Madison to Atlanta it was acceleration for take off when the crew had to reject the take off due to right hand engine fan blade damage.Airplane slow down and taxied back to the gate.Engine received substantial damage

The FAA rated the occurrence like an accident
