American Eagle flight EGF-3335 , Bombardier CRJ-700 from Toronto to New York LaGuardia took off from Toronto Peason's airport and was climbing when the crew reported a flaps problem declaring an emergency and asking to divert back to Toronto.Airplane landed safely to Toronto airport on runway 05

 

On 23 October 2013 the Canadian TSB reported that American Eagle CRJ-700 registration N517AE after departure the flight crew received flight spoiler and spoileron caution messages. The crew declared an emergency and requested return to Toronto. The aircraft landed without further incident. Maintenance personnel performed a system operational check and found the system serviceable.
