Delta flight DL-41 , Boeing 767-400 registration N836MH from London Heathrow to Minneapolis/St Paul it was en route at FL340 over Atlantic ocean and very near to Canada when the airplane suffered an engine problem and had to shut down.The crew declared an emergency and diverted to Goose Bay for a safe landing after about 1 hour

 

On 20 November 2013 the Canadian TSB reported that while in cruise the crew noted a right engine (General Electric CF6-80) low oil quantity indication. The crew completed the quick reference handbook procedure for Engine Low Oil quantity. The crew continued to monitor the oil quantity and pressure indications and observed both were decreasing. After consultation with dispatch it was decided to divert to Goose Bay, NL. An emergency was declared and the flight landed in Goose Bay safely. The engine was replaced.
