On 6 December 2013 the Canadian TSB reported that the Air Canada Airbus A319-100 aircraft (ACA450, C-FZUG) was on route when traces of smoke were observed emanating from the armrest audio jack of a seat. The In Flight Entertainment (IFE) system was shutdown for the remainder of the flight. ARFF was standing by for the uneventful landing. The aircraft stopped on the runway and after ARFF inspected the aircraft it taxied to the gate. Maintenance replaced the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) on the armrest of the seat.
