Alitalia Flight AZ-1670 , ATR 72-500 registration YR-ATS leased from Carpatair from Pisa to Rome Fiumicino with 46 passengers and 4 crew landed hard on runway 16L under strong crosswinds around 40 knts ,  causing the airplane to bounce 2 times and on second time the nose gear to collapse with ground.After veered off the runway to the right and  all main gears also collapsed with ground.Airplane came to a stop around 1800 meters down the end of runway and 50 to the right.Airplane evacuated but 2 people received serious injures and 10 more light injures.Airplane's all main gears and also propellers and engines received damaged

Alitalia after the accident suspended all the flights that it was operating by Carpatair

 

On 22 March 2013 the Italian authorities released some safety recommendations according to accident.Also they reported that the airplane touch down on runway 16L on center line but around 567 m after the initial threshold , airplane bounced 3 times with result to collapsed all main gears.Airplane skidded on its belly for 500 m until came to a stop 1800 m down the end of runway and 50 m right of runway near taxiway DE.Emergency services took more than 10 min to reach the accident point because of lack of visibility(it was night) and also because they didn't know where exactly the taxiway DE(they didn't received also right coordinates from tower).So the Italian authorities they recommended better knowledge from emergency crews about the airport facilities , ground and aviation terms
