Shuttle America flight S5-5127 , Embraer EMB-170 from Houston to Montreal it was approaching Montreal airport when the crew reported a flaps problem and declared an emergency.Airplane landed without further incident on runway 06L

On 6 December 2013 the Canadian TSB reported that the Embraer E170, registration N657RW, operated by Shuttle America as flight TCF5127 was about 20 nm west of Montreal/Pierre Elliott Trudeau Intl arriving from Houston, Texas when the crew declared an emergency due to flap fail message. Airport rescue and fire fighting were deployed and the aircraft landed safely on runway 06L. An electrical rig was performed and the flaps operated normally. Aircraft was then released for service.
